Glory hallelujah, I always like strategy games but hate when I start to control more units than I can micro effectively, eg im a better brigade commander over division. This is the exact game I’ve been wanting for years! Tepid warm on the fact that it’s civil war themed, would have loved ww2 but still I will be getting this on my next paycheque

Something here doesn't feel right with all these countries declaring war on you. I understand its a game and conflict is the core component but a little bit of realism doesn't hurt either. Why does everyone see German as a threat. Why does Japan dislike Germany? In fact other than France what is the cassus bellum of all these nations. You are not conducting unrestricted warfare, you haven't declared war on anyone, they have all declared war on you. It makes little sense. This isn't the 1740s when countries entered, dropped out and then re-entered wars. A little more realism regarding the politics might be nice. IMO. Otherwise great playing and commanding of your fleets.

Good video as always! I think you should try the Crusader Kings 3 - Fallen Eagle mod its a really great mod about the later roman empire with many start dates and historical characters like Belissarius and there are historical events as well

When using destroyers to attack large ships, I suggest you split your formation into at minimum two lines. Send one on each flank, slighty staggered to avoid friendly fire, so you catch the enemy in between twp spreads of torpedoes.

you need to get ships in those regions you are losing transports and make sure you have the range on them also so you can get the protect convoy missions in those regions. Pretty sure bcause youd ont have the ships, is why your losing soo MANY transports just a tip

High control will sometime cause rebel uprising for lower control. But peasant armys are nothing but levys and can win like 4-1 odds with knights and MAA. 15:46

Put a CL or a couple of DDs on the map tiles where you are losing transports. They'll effectively guard the area and prevent as many losses. Depending on their orders, they'll prioritise defending your convoys or hunting enemy convoys. The high end armour thickness you're seeing is likely on the turret faces and not representative of the main belt. The AI tends either build bricks or glass cannons, with the latter being most common. The difference between the British ships and the Japanese was likely due to crew experience/training. A veteran crew will fight much more effectively than a green one.

Spliting the fleat was a mistake. When your out numbered, you'll want to bering a much to bear as possible.

You can try to improve relationships each trun. It would prevent a lot of unwanted wars.

Last battle, split your DD's into at least 2 divisions and go to port and starboard on that BB. Your rear most DD's could do nothing.

Those Japanese Dreadnoughts were a nasty surprise. That Victory (heh) against those British Dreadnoughts was pretty good, but those transport losses are quite concerning. Hopefully you can get something from the Brits when this war is over...

One way to increase port capacity is to make sure to keep a ship or two in every port even just a cheap destroyer.

Is scrapping the best option? Mothballing and selling might be an alternative.
